According to Alfa Romeo Automobilisimo Storico, the chassis number AR 1495.01617 originally corresponds to an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider, manufactured on the 21st March 1957 and sold on the 6th April 1957 in Sanremo, Imperia, Italy.
Until 2012 this lovely Giulietta Spider spent it's life in Italy, it was then purchased by a Dutch man who imported it into The Netherlands. Shortly after arrival in Holland the decision was made to commence a meticulous restoration to the highest possible standards. Now, two years after the commencement of the restoration, every aspect of this car has been returned to an as new condition, both cosmetically and mechanically. The restoration is documented with literally hundreds of photographs charting all works carried out.
Not only is this car beautifully trimmed internally, with a wonderful new mohair hood, it also has an ultra rare Pininfarina steel hard-top which has also been restored perfectly.
The last 750 Spider we supplied won 'Car of the Show' at this year's Midland Italian Car Day as voted for by the visitors of the show, from in excess of 360 cars displayed. This example offered here today would be a surefire contender for show wins too.
We believe this is the best example available anywhere and we would be pleased to show it to serious interested parties as it would definitely enhance any car collection. Please contact for further details.
