This is a very special Alfetta having only covered 13,800 fully documented from new. The first owner John Connolly was a long term Alfa lover and bought the Alfetta new from the the Epsom Alfa Romeo dealership Pagents of Epsom and the car still bares their supplier sticker today. He subsequently purchased an Alfa Romeo SZ keeping it together with the Alfetta at his home in Sutton, Surrey, both cars sporting matching 'SZ' personalised registrations (see photo within).
Although he only used the cars sparingly Mr Connolly kept them very well maintained, retaining all the MOT's and servicing invoices to substantiate the exceptionally low mileage seen today. This was complimented by the cars regularly being valeted by a local man in Carshalton called Richard Pratt. After 20 years of ownership John Connolly sadly died in 2003, when he did he left his Alfetta to Richard in thanks for the way he looked after it for him. A very gentlemanly thing to do.
Richard Pratt kept the car until 2011 when he sold it to a local car collector who had a particular passion for all things Alfa Romeo. Due mainly to the lack of use with other cars in his collection we have been able to purchase what must be one of the lowest mileage and best condition Afettas in the country.
Waxoiled from new and still present this car is in what can only be described as time warp condition. In a typically 80's colour scheme this car would grace any concours show or could just be driven and enjoyed.
This completely original car comes with all instruction books, manuals, tool kit, MOT's and service history and will be fully serviced and MOT'd for its new owner- it will not disappoint.
