According to Alfa Romeo Automobilisimo Storico, chassis number AR1470386 originally corresponds to an Alfa Romeo 1750 Spider Veloce RHD, manufactured on the 28th December 1968 and sold on the 2nd April 1969.

The 1750 Spider Veloce is the ultimate iteration of the round tail Spider and with just 494 RHD examples produced, this car is the most sought after of them all.

We recently had a 150-hour bare metal repaint in Glasurit Pine Green carried out on this wonderful Spider. The finish is therefore outstanding and the procedure was fully photographed to give peace of mind that the structural integrity of this car is as exceptional as the finish covering it. Whilst being painted, all stainless steel brightwork was removed and professionally polished and the original door handles re-chromed.

A comprehensive history file accompanies this car with documentation, invoices, MOTs and photographs spanning some 20 years. one of the last owners kept this Spider for 10 years and purchased it from DK Engineering as it was owned by a member of the Cottingham family of Ferrari fame.

Presented in correct, unmodified state with much original detail retained. This rare coloured Spider is a truly exceptional example which needs to be seen to be fully appreciated.
